Gotta love technology!

So, in the saga that is the Warner Family Camera, it is finished. Our poor camera is now extinct. And what perfect timing: right before Christmas! But with the help of modern technology, we were able to capture at least bits and pieces of the special day! Chad got a new phone, so was able to take pictures, which he sent to my phone (his email is not set up on his phone yet), which I sent to my computer, which I then downloaded to the blog! All these terms and technology that were foreign just a few years ago! So, they aren't the best pictures, but at least they are pictures! --As a side note...if anyone has or knows someone who has a camera that they'd like to sell for around the bargain price of $20 or so, we are so interested!! I want to make sure that we are able to capture Aly's approaching birthday and Jack's approaching birth on more than just a camera phone!!--

We had a wonderful break. The best part was that there were no games within a week of Christmas so we had uninterrupted time with Chad! We did what we love most: to hunker-down and spend some good quality time as a family. I had cooked, baked, and froze everything the week prior to Christmas, so I was able to spend the day mostly out of the kitchen too! As you can see from the majority of the pictures below, the highlight of the girls' Christmas was the umbrellas that Santa brought. (Caroline is, to this day, telling every stranger who approaches her, "I got an umbrella for Christmas!") I wonder how long Christmas shopping will be so easy?!

'Twas the day before Christmas...

...as we played in the trees

Singing, "Rain, rain don't go away!!"

A little rest as the grown-ups finish dinner

Always the ballerina!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

yay! pictures! thanks for working so hard getting them up. you are welcome to our old camera. i just feel bad because it is old and we got a new one because the pictures were light saturated (and not very good). we would never take $$$ for it either! it will be better than no pictures, though! i have to see that baby boy soon! let me know if you get better offers about the camera. love you!!!!!
